About this opportunity
Coastal Caring Clowns aim to promote and encourage the art of Clowning to bring caring, happiness and inspiration to the community, particularly through visits to hospitals, respite centres, nursing homes and by participating in other events.
Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (C) . Working with Children Check *.
Clowns must be enthusiastic, full of fun and committed to abide by "The Clown's Code of Ethics", "Guidelines for Visits to Nursing Homes" and "Guidelines for Hospital Visits".
All prospective clowns must attend an orientation session and obtain a Blue Card before being permitted to visit Hospitals or Nursing Homes. Blue Cards are free for Volunteers.
Up to 3 hours per visit, mornings only from 10:30am.
