Meals on Wheels- Delivery Drivers

About this opportunity

Frankston City Council are looking for drivers for their Meals on Wheels program. Drivers are needed to assist with delivery of hot and frozen meals to clients within the Frankston Municipality.
Drivers work approx. 3 hours Monday to Friday. Current Drivers Licence a requirement and use of own car is essential - fuel reimbursed.

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate ^*. Working with Children Check ^*.

*NOTE* - all individuals volunteering with Frankston City Council must be fully vaccinated and willing to provide documented proof of status unless an exemption applies.

Ability to transfer in and out of own vehicle several times in a 2 hour period.
Ability to walk from car to homes carrying a tub with meals
Ability to walk up flights of stairs while carrying a tub with meals.
Ability to work as part of a team.

Time Required

10:30 am for 2.5 hours one day per week Monday - Friday volunteer can do up to 5 shifts a week.
