About this opportunity

The Darebin TAC L2P Program assists disadvantaged young people under 21 years of age to engage in education, employment and the community by helping them gain the 120 hours of supervised driving experience needed to get their probationary licence.

We are looking for volunteers who are reliable, patient and positive to help young people achieve this goal.

Vehicle, training, support and insurance provided.

Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Traffic Check *. Working with Children Check *.

• Must have held a full Victorian Driver's licence.
• 2 hours per week commitment (including 20 hours total of night driving per learner).
• Can provide positive support and supervision to a young person

Time Required

The position is on a voluntary basis. • The term of this volunteer position is subject to performance and the needs of the organisation. • It is expected that both parties provide two weeks’ notice regarding leave and changes to availability. This must be provided to the Coordinator in writing. • Immediate termination can also occur due to unsatisfactory conduct or breech of our policies or procedures.
