About this opportunity

The gardens are managed by Br Jim and the Venue Manager, Donna Cooper. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive work environment where WHS, including a site and equipment induction is a priority. Tasks include weeding, pruning, hedge trimming, lawn mowing and general gardening maintenance. We are looking for support in maintaining such a large garden and are open to help in all areas whether it be for a few hours once a month or on a more regular basis.

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

A love of gardening and a basic understanding of plants would be advantageous.

Please Note: As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance)

Time Required

Any day including weekends. Between 8.00am - 5.00pm. Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role be a maximum of 15-16 hours per week.
