About this opportunity
As an Activity Assistant you will assist in setting up for the activity; putting out chairs, bats, balls and tables, setting up for the morning tea and getting any equipment ready. You will welcome the participants to the activity, stamp their registration cards and help them if they have and needs or questions. Tasks also involve setting up morning or afternoon tea and clearing away afterwards. You will work as part of a team in a lively and enjoyable environment lead by an experienced volunteer supervisor.
On Tuesday mornings the activity is Table Tennis and on Wednesday afternoons the Seniors participate in the Sing with Us choir. You are welcome to join in on the activities, but this is optional depending on your interests.
Kind and compassionate, easy going and patient, good listening skills, ability to work as part of a team, Volunteer National Police Certificate which can be organised and paid for by the Nedlands Volunteer Service, meet COVID safe requirements (hygiene and infectious control measures).
Tuesdays- 9:45am to 12:30pm OR Wednesdays 1pm to 3pm.Suitable for
