1:1 visitor needed for social support
About this opportunity
We are looking for volunteers to carry out a social meet and greet type role. This includes approaching residents that are sitting alone and offering them company, assisting residents with walkers to make their way through to the café & sit & have a chat.
Additional requirements
NDIS screening check .
Anglicare require a police check facilitated through the NDIS & a visit to a Service NSW outlet is needed to complete this with your I.D. requirements.
We will send the information regarding this with our application paperwork etc.
Completing a 90min NDIS online training will be necessary if you visit a NDIS participant.
To suit volunteer - times are between 9.30 & 12 or 1.30 & 4 - whatever you can do within those timeframes.
