About this opportunity

The Friends of Wireless Hill is a community group dedicated to conserving and protecting the bushland of Wireless Hill Park. Volunteers are involved in weed removal, and monitoring the distribution and health of native plants. They are welcome to work with others at regular times(second and fourth Sunday mornings each month, and most Tuesday mornings) or at their own times (after introduction and training). We meet at the main carpark at about 8.30am.


Additional requirements

An interest in bushland and native vegetation
Must dress appropriately (closed shoes, hat, long sleeves and pants). Bring gardening gloves and weeding tool if you have them, or use ones we will supply, Remember drinking water in warm weather.

Time Required

We usually work 08:30 -10:30 when we meet, and then have a cup of tea or coffee. A one off, or a few hours each month.
