Volunteer Animal Care Assistant at Kingaroy
About this opportunity
This role involves the daily cleaning of the animals' pens, cats or dogs. The cleaning includes hands on work, hosing, sweeping and scooping up of poop! Hygiene control is very important, as is ensuring that the animals remain stocked up with food, water, bedding and toys. Assistance will also be required in duties such as ensuring the Animal Care Campus environment is presentable, helping with laundry duties and general tidying up.
Additional requirements
Confidence with animals, the ability to work independently and follow instructions. You need to be physically fit, be able to stand for long periods, cope with increased noise levels.
Time Required
Morning and afternoon shifts are available.
