About this opportunity
The State Emergency Service (SES) is a volunteer emergency service organisation which gives immediate assistance during emergencies and disasters. We also provide community response to 'day to day' incidents such as vehicle accidents, searches, cliff rescues, flood and storm damage situations and any other incidents that might require rescue or search services.
Volunteers are involved in search, storm damage, rescue and cliff rescue and other emergency services
National Police Certificate *.
Aged between 14 to 16 the Cadet needs to be able to work within a team of all aged people. Able to commit once a fortnight on a Monday evening from 6.45 to 9.30/10pm to training.
Be involved with the team when weekend courses are available.
All Cadets are part of the unit and all courses that are offered to the Unit are offered to Cadets. courses include, but are not limited to Radio, Vertical Rescue, Chainsaw, 4WD, Land/Search Technique, Forensic Search
Once a fortnight on a Monday, 6.45 to 9.30/10pm. Training over a weekend and emergency response on a weekend only. Cadets will not be called out of school if the emergency is on a week daySuitable for
