About this opportunity

Norah Head Light is an active lighthouse located at Norah Head, a headland on the Central Coast, New South Wales, Australia, close to Toukley. It is the last lighthouse of the James Barnet style to be built, and the last staffed lighthouse constructed in New South Wales. We are looking for someone who can provide supervision, guided information presentations and reception to the general public (visitors) at Norah Head Lighthouse Reserve.

Agreed roster for Saturday and Sunday 9.30AM to 2.30PM. Must be available on weekends (0930 - 1430) and able to climb the 94 steps of the Lighthouse up to 5 times a day (on a busy day).

Training: Relevant training provided by the Trust or external providers.

Notes: Flexibility to work within a roster across the weekend. Sound interpersonal skills. Uniform provided physical capacity to be able to climb 94 steps, several times a session.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
