Aged Care - Mini Bus Driver
About this opportunity
The position is part of a team of volunteers, who provide essential services to Adssi In-home Support clients to enable them to remain living independently. The service provides highly valued social interaction and ensures clients remain connected to community, and functional in their own life.
The volunteer is responsible for delivering a safe and reliable transport service for the clients of Adssi In-home Support and may include:
• assisting clients from door into/out of vehicle • assisting with walkers and the like • supporting any function required to ensure smooth group event such as entering/exiting building safely, ordering meals/tickets, assisting to bathroom

Additional requirements
Driver's Licence (LR) . Medical Check *. National Police Certificate *. Others .
It is essential to hold a current NSW LR license, have a safe driving record and a current Apply First Aid Certificate. A medical assessment as well as a criminal history check will be conducted.
A mobile phone is required for this position.
Must have access to an active email address and ability to receive and send emails.
The ability to communicate with all kinds of people.
This role has flexibility in timing. Ideally the volunteer driver would be able to nominate regular day/s for the role to assist in transport scheduling. Normally, a driving shift will fall within the span of hours 7.30 am and 5.00 pm.
