About this opportunity
A volunteer is required to provide entertainment through music for the Residents enjoyment which helps stimulate familiar memories and elevate mood and morale.
Various roles available:
- Form a choir with weekly practice sessions, or
- Play an instrument for the pleasure of the residents, or
- Sing to residents.
Volunteers will need to relate well to the aged/disabled and play a musical instrument or sing. This role is suitable for youth 16 years +.
Volunteers are an integral part of Christadelphian Aged Care providing a backbone of support to our staff. The Company maintains compliance with all State and Federal Aged Care and Workplace legislations and has put in place COVID safe practices to protect its volunteers.
The volunteer will benefit from bring pleasure to the Aged. This will be an opportunity to perform in front of an audience and also an opportunity perform dress rehearsals for students and artists.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
Flexible days and a minimum of 1 hour per week.
Suitable for- Younger volunteers, aged 14-18

Initial induction and orientation session with Volunteer & Pastoral Care Coordinator. Attend mandatory annual training.
