About this opportunity

When a natural disaster strikes - a storm, cyclone, earthquake, flood or tsunami DFES State Emergency Service (SES) volunteers can be found helping to secure communities and get them back on their feet.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Others .

Depending on the level of involvement volunteers must be prepared to undertake training in all areas of search and rescue techniques.
Volunteers actively promote prevention and preparation measures in visits to service groups senior centre and homes, local business and schools.

Time Required

Flexible and on-call short notice. Training is Monday evenings in Busselton,6:30 pm to 9pm.
