Assistant Laundry and Donations
About this opportunity
The laundry is an important area for GAWS due to the continual demand for supply. The laundry provides fresh clean blankets and bedding for our animals, it is an area which is also vital to their wellbeing. Many loads of laundry are done daily using our industrial machines, including hanging, drying, folding and sorting. It can be quite heavy, manual work and you are generally working by yourself due to limited space. Generous donations also come into the shelter on a daily basis. These require sorting and distributing to the different areas within the shelter.
