Butterflies Op Shop Volunteer
About this opportunity
Butterflies is an Op Shop run in support of Hospice. They are currently looking for people on all days, especially Monday or Wednesday and/or Friday for a three hour shift 1pm to 4pm and/or Friday morning 10am to 1pm. Duties include serving customers, sorting clothes; hanging, ironing and pricing clothes, and general shop tidying.
***Albany Community Hospice is an 8-bed in-patient specialist palliative care facility where patients can receive support and symptom management in a home-like environment. Our focus is on the patient and enabling them to live as well as possible until death. This includes their physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual well being as well as supporting their family or significant others.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
Customer service, interpersonal skills, numeracy and money handling.
