968 - Rescue Vessel Crew

About this opportunity

Deckhands on the rescue vessel during rescue operations, members with appropriate qualification can become a rescue coxswain on the vessel.

PLEASE NOTE: A current Working With Children Check is mandatory prior to application

Additional requirements

National Police Certificate ^*. Working with Children Check ^*.

Crew can be called out at any time and may be required to operate in rough conditions (if safe)

Time Required

7 days a week, 5 hours per week plus training

Training

Boat License, Marine Radio License, Marine Rescue accreditation, uniforms issued after 6 months of service.

Reimbursement

For long distance travel, We ask members to pay for licenses etc, but will reimburse them after 6 month satisfactory service ($70)
