About this opportunity
Our Centre provides a daily lunchtime meal (M-F) in our dining room as well food is prepared (M-F) for Meals on Wheels. The kitchen dining room is a very important part of the day-to-day operations of our Centre. Our volunteers are highly valued for without them we would not be able to offer the services currently available. We reward our kitchen volunteers by taking them out to dinner with their partners twice a year. Kitchen volunteers may avail themselves of a bowl of soup or a sandwich for morning tea. Tea and Coffee is available any time. Need to complete a food safety certificate prior to commencing. Days of volunteering to be discussed and decided on with kitchen management.

The Centre Cook will provide ample on-the-job training and supervision needed to complete a food safety certificate prior to commencing.
Normal kitchen volunteer shift is from 8.30am till 1pm Monday to Friday, but this can be flexible if necessary. Days of duty to be discussed with management.
