About this opportunity

Share your language, smile, and companionship with an elderly Uruguayan lady in an aged care facility in Runaway Bay, QLD.

How it works: Visits can be spent talking or sharing a simple leisure activity. Regular visits can make a real and positive difference by reducing social isolation and improving well-being.

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits of one hour for at least four months. However, this is an ongoing role, and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, and ongoing support.
