Laundry Van Volunteer - First Nations support trial

Indigenous Australians Regular - less than 6 months Woolloongabba QLD

About this opportunity

Join us in our mission to Positively Connect Communities. We don't have all the answers to homelessness, but what we can provide is free clean laundry, a warm shower and genuine conversation to those doing it tough.

As an Orange Sky (OS) volunteer, you will help ensure the van greets our friends with an awesome group of volunteers to provide safe and reliable free laundry services, assist in driving the van to shift (non-mandatory) and engage in genuine and positive conversations with friends, service providers and other volunteers.

For this trial shift we are showing up at an Indigenous Medical Centre and looking for passionate volunteers who are culturally aware and want to support the empowerment of the community to support each other.
