About this opportunity

Key duties

  • consulting on designing an enriching museum experience for those with diverse needs
  • assisting with the development of tour guide materials and other supporting resources (e.g. short videos, brochures)
  • delivery of tours for diverse groups (desirable but not required)

Skills/experience

  • experience in working with people with diverse needs
  • lived experience desirable but not essential
  • experience in museums/art galleries or similar desirable but not essential

Time Required

We'd love to hear from you if you can provide a few hours of assistance per fortnight, however, commitment is flexible around your needs. We are looking for volunteers who can support the initial development of these materials, as well as ongoing delivery of these tours - if you are able to do one or both, please reach out to discuss further.
