Roster Coordinator for Ambulance Drivers

About this opportunity

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to coordinate the roster for our volunteer ambulance drivers. Rosters are to be developed in advance for each period and proactively plan to ensure adequate numbers of trained members are able to meet roster requirements for requisite roster cycle/s. Ensure all shifts are covered by appropriately matched members.

We are looking for someone that has organisational and time management skills, ability to work independently and within team environments, good computer skills and willingness to learn new systems and the ability to relate and instruct a large cross section of volunteers.

We would also appreciate that applicants have a love of Australian Native Wildlife and a genuine interest in the associated conservation, education and research.

SOWFI is a Member Organisation and you be required to become a member to volunteer with us. Annual membership fees are $55 ($45 conc)

Driver's Licence . National Police Certificate *.

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.

Time Required

10-15 hours per month, work from home & attend events as possible.
