Event Volunteer | Great Vic Bike Ride

Recreation One off - an event Victoria VIC

About this opportunity

The Great Vic Bike Ride is a rolling bike riding and camping festival that moves to a new town each day. In 2024, we are celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic event which started back in 1984. This year's ride takes us from Wodonga to Healesville, showcasing all the best parts of northeast Victoria!

We are currently seeking volunteers to join our team. Volunteering is a great way to share your skills, learn new ones, meet likeminded people, support the bike riding community, explore the Victorian countryside and be a part of an iconic event. All meals, transportation and use of a tent are free for volunteers and there will be plenty of time to explore the towns we visit as well as enjoy the music and entertainment on offer as part of the event.

When is it? Saturday 23rd November – Sunday 1st December 2024

What roles are available? There are more than 20 different volunteer roles to choose from, meaning there is something to suit everyone, no matter your experience or ability. You could be serving meals to riders as part of the catering team; providing excellent customer service on the Happy Helpers team; or keeping campsites clean and tidy on the eco team. You can view the full list of roles and read the description by visiting the Bicycle Network website.
