Volunteer Driver
About this opportunity
Our Country Care Link program offers no-cost transport to people from rural/regional Australia travelling to Sydney for medical care. Our volunteers pick up people from the Domestic airport, Central Station or a bus depot and transport them to and from appointments and/or accommodation in the Sydney metropolitan area. Return journeys can also be requested.
Skills:
- high level of commitment and effective time management skills
- customer service
- ability to interact with clients, their families and/or carers in a sensitive, non-judgmental way is paramount.
Requirements:
- current NSW Driver’s License
- access to a registered and insured vehicle which is clean and roadworthy
- Police Check.
- evidence of Covid –19 vaccination certificate
- wear a mask for the full duration of the trip
Shifts:
- from early morning to evening, Monday to Friday
Other Information:
- Reimbursement for kilometres travelled between pick up and drop off points is available.

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Drives take place Monday to Friday and generally between the hours of 7am – 6pm. Availability depends on the individual. Pick and choose days and times that suit you.
