Shop Sales and Sorting Assistant, ReStore

Community Services Regular - less than 6 months Alberton SA

About this opportunity

Habitat for Humanity SA operates a social enterprise called ReStore – best described as ‘an Op shop for building materials and furniture.’

We accept donations of new and ‘gently used’ building materials and furniture from retailers, building companies, tradies, and the general public, and sell it at around half the retail price. Without ReStore, much of this product would have gone to landfill.

Funds raised support our home building and improvement programs for South Australian families in need.

There is always plenty to do on the shop floor, whether it's serving customers, processing counter sales, sorting donations, pricing and restocking the shop.

This is a great opportunity if you are looking to expand your skills or have recently retired and are looking to meet some new people. You do not need any prior experience as we will provide you with all the training you need.

By supporting ReStore, you are helping Habitat for Humanity fulfill its vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
