About this opportunity
Make everyone’s day by pushing a trolley with all kinds of sweet treats around to residents who are living with dementia in our aged care home in Miranda. You’ll bring joy to each of our residents every time you enter the room.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. NDIS screening check .
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two (2) doses) •
