Volunteer Drivers - Northern Beaches

Do you want to make a real difference to people living in the community? Can you spare a couple of hours a fortnight or month?
MWP Community Care are looking for reliable volunteers who are willing to use their own vehicles to transport our clients to and from medical and social appointments. Most transport requests are located on the Northern Beaches however some may require further travel.
Volunteers are reimbursed 85c/km for their travel costs.
MWP Community Care is a not for profit organisation who has been dedicated to supporting the well being and independence of older people on the Northern Beaches since 1967. Our volunteers are local people who are passionate about supporting other locals, providing services as well as enabling them to maintain their independence living in their own home.

Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.
- Sensitive and caring attitude and respect for our aged clients
- Good listening and communication skills
- Safe driving record and own vehicle preferred but not essential
- Mobile phone preferred but not essential
- Northern Beaches Resident preferred
- Police Check is required which is reimbursable.
Volunteer commitment is on weekdays only. Minimum two hours - once a week, twice a week, once a fortnight, once a month.
