About this opportunity

Get2Know is looking for a IT Tester who plays a key part in enhancing their operational processes across various systems. Join our team to help undertake a range of application testing alongside analysis & design, which includes overall planning, analysis, preparation, execution and reporting test activities within our environments.

The Main responsibilities

• Understand project objectives, business requirements and processes
• Writing test plans and test scripts for existing and new applications
• Executing test scripts and raising defects/issues for resolution
• Develop and maintain test cases
• Execution of system testing, integration testing, regression testing and end-to-end testing of software applications
• Raising clear, concise defects and assigning to appropriate internal and/or external resources for resolution
• Reporting of test progress and outcomes to supervisor and stakeholders
• Writing/modifying automation scripts as required
• Running automation scripts

Requirements

• Tertiary qualified in IT related discipline.
• Proven experience working as a Software tester
• A great team player with a proactive approach.
• Hands-on and a sound understanding of online working tools, process improvement methodologies, related concepts and frameworks.
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication (documentation and writing) skills.
• Strong interpersonal, consultative and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of Agile concepts.
