About this opportunity

We are seeking volunteers to mentor and support women participating in our womens program. Support may be in many forms including but not limited to sharing your skills and knowledge of a hobby or activity, perhaps play a musicial instrument, walks, teaching sewing, flower arrangments and other crafts, fitness or outings such as coffee, movies etc. This role would suit someone who can effectively communicate and who has a non judgemental attitude towards women with life controlling issues.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (LR) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Drivers Licence.
A commitment to privacy and confidentiality is a must.
Have good communication skills with a non judgemental attitude, mature nature, must posses a caring and supportive nature and a genuine interest and desire to help people in need.
Experience in the drug and alcohol field would be beneficial but is not necessary to take on a mentoring role. Further training opportunities are availabe and can be explored.
