About this opportunity

Assisting patients, visitors and staff of Mount Druitt Hospital with food and drink sales on campus that benefit the hospital through funds raised.

• Provide customer service with food and drink sales including operating an espresso machine (training provided)

• Manage cash and EFTPOS transactions

• Assist with the daily duties of the Kiosk including organising and restocking Challenges:

*o Maintaining clear communication with customers with varying degrees of communication

• Maintaining good customer service

• Working in a healthcare setting

• Maintaining confidentiality

• Complying with annual mandatory fire and other training

• Willing to complete ‘Safe food handling’ training

Attributes/Skills:

• Good interpersonal skills

• Interest in retail sales

• Ability to work as a team and support other volunteers

• Ability to deal with visitors/clients in friendly, helpful and courteous manner

• Ability to follow daily roster

• Reliable, committed and flexible

All volunteering is conducted within COVID safe guidelines
