Canteen Assistant

The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of Canterbury Football Club.

The Canterbury Football Club are looking to fill positions relating to the running of the club's canteen for the upcoming season and beyond.

Hours vary each week depending on fixtured matches, though the operational canteen hours could be anywhere from roughly 9am til 6pm each Saturday, with the potential to also assist on Thursday evenings.

Match day/Thursday duties include:

• Preparing and setting up canteen area
• Preparing food and beverage for sale
• Selling goods over the course of the day and restocking as required
• Operating POS terminals
• Selling alcoholic beverages
• Cleaning as required throughout the day and general cleaning to finish up

Additional duties outside of game day may include

• Managing overall stock levels
• Ordering stock (assistance from the committee would be provided)

We would love to have the same people assisting each week though are also open to anyone who can only assist a few days over the course of the season.

Covid-19 vaccination .

Time Required

Hours range from 9am-6pm Saturdays, 6pm-9pm Thursdays
