About this opportunity
This exciting role will see you supporting special events, which occur throughout the year.
Tasks may include: -Assistance with making decorations -Designing posters, flyers and invitations -Set up and pack down of event space -Helping residents make there way to the event space (ability to push wheelchairs) -Interacting and keeping residents company at the event
You will need to have the ability to push wheelchairs, confidence in engaging with residents, able to follow directions and a high level of initiative.
You will need to be computer literate with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Publisher and Outlook.
As the events occur during different times of the year, the days and times may vary. Will be monthly around your availability. Bethanie have a wonderful team of staff who will be there to guide and support you through your volunteer role.

-NDIS Volunteer Screening (we will reimburse the costs of)
-Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one (we will coordinate and pay for this on your behalf).
-Record of having (or willing to undertake) 2021 Flu vaccination
-Record of having (or willing to undertake) COVID-19 vaccination
-Willing to complete online learning modules
-Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the Bethanie Group Inc.
