About this opportunity
Ermington Joey Mob is looking for happy and enthusiastic volunteers who like working with children to become Joey Scout Leaders. Joey Scouts are boys and girls aged between 6-8. A typical Joey meeting involves some play acting, songs, craft activity and games. You would prepare the program in advance of the meeting and present the program on the meeting night. An interest in outdoor activities and a strong community spirit is important.

Training Details: On the job training is provided as well as formal training, which is provided free of charge. The training takes place over one night and 3 weekends in the initial 6-12 month period. This training leads to Cert 3 qualification in Frontline Management for those who complete the full course. On going information and training meetings are held once per month in the local area.
