About this opportunity

Team members will be required from 9.00 am until approximately 2.00 pm - 2.30 pm

This is a camping tour and you will need to provide your own tent, mattress, and personal gear.

Transport, camping accommodation expenses and meals will be provided from Adelaide and return.

There will be plenty of time to explore the world famous, picturesque and historic Flinders Ranges region of South Australia. You will be camping at another world famous and ancient Wilpena Resort (Pound) for two nights.

We are looking for volunteers who:

  • have very good interpersonal skills
  • are flexible and cheerful
  • have the ability to work under direction
  • have knowledge of food safety practices and manual handling techniques
  • First Aid qualifications/experience a distinct advantage


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *.

Please Note:

* As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Volunteer Personal Accident Insurance).
* Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.

Time Required

Each day, i.e. Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 May, except for 19 May (Rest Day) - 9.00 am - 2.00 pm - 2.30 pm Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role be a maximum of 15-16 hours per week.
