February 25 (Friday) - C'mon, get your hands dirty and lets repair some bikes!

Human Rights One off - a few hours Midvale WA

About this opportunity

Sign up with some friends, or come along and meet new people during this meaningful social volunteering experience. Help us repair donated bicycles to for re-distribution to persons in need.

We always need extra hands. Whether you’re interested in helping out collecting and repairing bikes or have other skills that could benefit the project – please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. And remember — no experience necessary! Our experienced workshop volunteers are there to help when you need a hand.

Bicycles for Humanity WA (B4HWA) collect donated pre-loved bicycles, and together with volunteers we work to repair them and pack them into shipping containers for transportation to NGO partners in Africa or to communities in remote WA.

B4HWA is completely volunteer run and can only do the work that we do because of the brilliant people donating their time to our organisation.

Additional requirements

Closed shoes are essential. B4HWA will supply you with gloves and hearing protection during your volunteer activity.

On arrival you will be expected to enter your name and contact details in the attendance register. B4H WA has provided hand sanitiser and encourages all volunteers to use it regularly. Other Government measures may be implemented from time to time.
