Wildlife loving volunteers needed!

Wildlife Welfare Organisation is seeking volunteers to assist at our wildlife rescue centre located in Goolwa.

The duties in the day of a Wildlife Rescuer include:

Handling a variety of birds, mammals and lizards

Preparing animal food, including meat and frozen food animals

Various cleaning duties

Small rescues or errands (at times you may need to use your own car)

Our wildlife need you!

You will be joining a committed and friendly team, providing integral care to injured and orphaned wildlife.


Additional requirements

Driver's Licence (C) .

South Australian drivers’ licence
Consistently and reliably able to commit to at least one full 4 hour shift per week (more available if suitable)
Be 18 years of age or older. (Unfortunately, due to workplace health and safety
regulations, and child protection laws, we cannot accept volunteers aged under 18 years.)
Become a Member of WWO ($20 annually).

Time Required

Able to commit to at least one full 4 hour shift each week (more available if suitable). Weekday and weekends shift available.
