About this opportunity

Are you wanting to fill in your summer holidays whilst also making a difference in a young person's life? Do you want to have that rewarding 'feel good feeling', whilst making lifelong friends with like-minded people?

Volunteering at Cahoots, you will help with the successful running of our programs and have the opportunity to work with our wonderful participants. You will support them in achieving their goals, whether that be making new friends, improving their independence, or just trying something new. Over the week you will learn valuable new skills and gain first-hand experience of what it is like working in the disability sector. You may even find a new career path.

We run camps and programs for children aged 5-12 years, teenagers aged 12-18, and young adults aged 18+.

As a program leader, all your meals and entry to all activities will be covered by Cahoots! We'll also throw in a free Cahoots t-shirt for you!

All volunteer program leaders will have guidance from professional support workers and facilitators whilst on camps and will receive extensive training beforehand from the Volunteer Coordinator.

If you don't have these documents, Cahoots will assist you in attaining them. Additionally, Cahoots fun a 2-hour training and induction session which is mandatory for all new volunteers.

Time Required

Aside from the training, volunteers can choose their commitment and frequency. Our holiday programs run from 9am to 4pm.
