About this opportunity
Would you like to join a passionate and friendly group of people who have been dealing with coastal matters and supporting on-ground coast care work within the City of Joondalup for more than 20 years? We have been involved with a wide range of interesting coastal issues, and in that time have made a great contribution to the coastal environment, with more to come!
Members have the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge by: • Liaising with the City of Joondalup - Natural Areas Team, • Raising issues of concern with the City of Joondalup, either directly or at Council meetings, • Reviewing and responding to applications made to various State agencies and Local Government, • Preparing grant application and submissions.
Meetings are held four times per year with additional meetings as required.
Most members are active members of one of the affiliated coast care groups doing the on-groundwork, however this is not essential.
