About this opportunity
This role will incorporate the following functions: o Funding & Strategic Partnerships o Impact Capital o Business Development o Government & Media Relations o Partner Manager o Grants o Sponsorships & Fundraising Key Responsibilities: Define our strategy to attract, engage with and support major donors Identifies the target market and their needs, expectations and requirements Prepares The United Project value proposition (and associated documentation) to meet the needs and expectations of major donors and grant providers Identifies available and suitable grants, whether they be private industry or government Sources leads, makes presentations to, and prepares proposals Manages relationships with our major donors and the grant providers Manages the reporting of outcomes and progress with our donors/funders. Qualifications and Requirements Proven work as a senior Business Development Manager or Account Director with at least 10 years’ business or fundraising experience Bachelor’s Degree in a business development or a related field, MBA Preferred Ability to lead multi-functional teams in a complex work environment Excellent relationship management and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills.
