Kinship Connections Aboriginal Corporation is looking for a Family History Researcher to assist in our Who's My Mob program. Kinship Connections offers a welcoming and supportive environment. Our staff are passionate about their work and the organisation's objectives of connecting Aboriginal children and families, to heal and strengthen the voice of the Aboriginal community. The Family History Researcher will work closely with our Anthropologist and Community Connectors to map out family trees and family history books for Aboriginal children in the foster care and justice systems. This work provides an opportunity to advance your knowledge in Aboriginal family history and be part of an inspiring and collaborative workplace.

Essential requirements include an understanding of Aboriginal history including the Stolen Generations, and a motivation to heal the Aboriginal community; A passion for Aboriginal history and family mapping; A competent level of computer skills (specifically in Microsoft Word). Experience in genealogical research is desirable.
