Bookshop Volunteer

Do you have a love of books and like working in a retail setting where you can learn new or use existing skills in customer service, money handling (till and eftpos), accepting and sorting donations, keeping the shop neat and tidy and replenishing stock each day? This could be the perfect volunteer position for you.

Save the Children Second Hand Bookshop in Armadale Central Shopping Centre have a volunteer opportunity for someone who is willing to commit to one shift per week on Tuesdays from 10 - 3pm for a minimum of six months.

Position would suit retirees or younger people looking for work experience or just someone who is passionate about supporting an organisation with a strong commitment to Human Rights.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

A good degree of fitness and ability is required as there is some physical requirements in stacking and sorting. Retail and Sales or Library experience would be an advantage but not essential. Would suite Centrelink Volunteers or Work Experience applicants.

Tuesdays 10am - 3pm for a minimum of 6 months
