Service Coordinator and Counsellor

About this opportunity

Attend to clients on the phone and in house including intake procedures. Provide a counselling service to victims of crime by appointment. Write accurate file notes of all client contact. Do follow up of clients by phone and in writing. Assist the Management committee with operational matters. Provide debriefing or supervision for professional staff. Recruit and train and supervise volunteers Work as part of team. Maintain statistics as required. Assist with relevant administrative functions of the job. Contribute towards preparation and reports for AGM


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

Must have Australian recognised degree in Counselling
Reliability.
Ability to take initiatives within own area of responsibilities.
Ability to follow instructions and learn new skills.
Willingness to share knowledge with others.
Work well within a multidisciplinary team.
Understanding of privacy law with regards to requirements for privacy and confidentiality of client information.

Time Required

10:30-4:30 three days per week. Minimum 6 hours per week.
