Peer Educator

Are you interested in educating others on injury prevention? If so we want to hear from you.
Peer Educators provide information and education to community members about how to prevent injury/s. Deliver presentations and education to groups. Attend community events. Refer people to seek advice from professionals where appropriate. Promote volunteer and engagement opportunities. Attending ongoing training and participate in feedback opportunities when required. Provided with a trolley and all resources needed to complete the role.
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
Age: 55+ Experience in engaging with communities (presentations/public speaking) Demonstrated experience in a similar role (paid or un-paid) Valid WA Drivers Licence National Police Clearance Australian Citizenship or permanent residency of Australia
Flexible. Can deliver as many presentations as you like. We don't have a minimum requirement as we like Older Adults to be able to travel and not feel restricted.
