Op Shop Tidying Volunteer - Esperance Care Services

About this opportunity

This role involves bending, stretching, squats and various arm exercises!

Esperance Care Services, located in Esperance, Western Australia, is on the look out for volunteers who will be able to keep the kids and Adult sections of their Op Shops tidy and welcoming.

Items are displayed, priced, and sold as low cost options for customers.

Volunteer Tasks Include:

  • Hanging and rehanging dropped Clothing
  • Replacing clothing in correct size spot
  • Removing empty hangers
  • General tidying - eg putting the shoes shelves straight
  • Customer Service - chatting with customers and helping to find items

ECS trading Hours are: Tues, Wed, & Fri, 9.30am-2.30pm, Thurs 9.30 - 4pm and Sat 9 - 12. Lunch/refreshments provided to Staff/Volunteers daily. If you are interested in retail, customer service, community and volunteering in a fun, welcoming environment, we are interested in talking to you!


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Others .

All volunteers will be required to undertake COVID awareness training prior to commencing.
National Police Clearance organised and paid for through Esperance Care Services.
COVID Vax Certification

Time Required

A full day is preferred but this can be varied if you are only available for a couple of hours, chat to us about what you can offer within ECS opening hours of 9:30am to 2:30pm Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays, 9.30-4pm Thursday and 9 - 12 Saturday.
