Volunteer Homework Club Tutor - Epping Plaza (Maths, Science, English, Humanities)
About this opportunity
The volunteer tutor provides educational support after school hours to students enrolled in the program in a face to face capacity.
The main responsabilities include :-
Address unique learning needs and challenges by providing personalized assistance to students.
Assist students with their weekly homework tasks or assignments.
Develop examples and tasks for students when minimal homework is available.
Cultivate positive relationships with students to promote trust and rapport.
Communicate regularly with program staff to report on students' academic progress.
Proactively identify and report concerns related to student wellbeing
Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
The position is face to face.
Monday 4:45pm-6:00pm (subject to change)
