About this opportunity
The Community Visitors Scheme coordinates volunteers to visit people who are socially isolated and whose quality of life would be improved by friendship and a regular visit from a volunteer.
We are seeking a mature male volunteer who would enjoy visiting a care recipient within their own home in Buderim. The care recipient, originally from the country, lives with his wife of over 60 years. His interests include car racing and general chit-chat.
Your hours can vary from 1 hour per fortnight upwards with times and days arranged to suit yourself and the recipient.

Additional requirements
National Police Certificate *.
Suncare will cover the cost of the initial mandatory National Police Certificate as well as its renewals. A full driver’s licence and an insured and reliable vehicle is required if your role includes transportation.
