Be My Friend: Community Visitors Scheme (Lifeline WA) High Wycombe/Kalamunda

Seniors & Aged Care Regular - more than 6 months Across: Perth WA, Ellenbrook WA

About this opportunity

Do you have a good sense of humor and are easy to talk to? We'd like to hear from you.

The Community Visitor Service (CVS) recruits, trains and coordinates special friends like you to make regular visits to older aged adults living in their own home or care facility who are experiencing social isolation/at risk of doing so.

Make a difference to someone's life today by putting a smile on their dial.

We require compassionate people to take our elderly gems to the local café, or park once per week or fortnight (not Wednesday's) for companionship and friendship. Weekends are also fine. Someone who will take the time with and talk to about anything, who is easy to be with and who will leave all their own problems at home.

A flu vaccine is required and you may be required to have a Covid vaccination depending upon the clients situation.
