Cancer Council Queensland is looking for volunteers for the Relay For Life - Ipswich on Saturday, October 23, 2021.
Relay For Life is a fun and moving experience that raises vital funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention, information and support services. Relay is a chance for the Ipswich community to recognize and celebrate local cancer survivors, patients and their carers, to honour and remember loved ones lost to cancer and to raise money to help save more lives.
Relay is a community organised event and we need your help! Volunteer to support the local committee in bringing Relay for Life to your community. Our on-the-day volunteers assist with tasks including:
*Helping set up the event (bump in) *Registration for participants *Facilitating our Survivor and Carers Afternoon Tea *Activities around the grounds *Helping keep the event clean and safe *Assisting with our Candlelight Ceremony *End-of-event activities (bump out) T here are two shifts available on Saturday October 23, 2021:
*12PM to 5PM (Afternoon) *5PM to 11PM (Evening)
There will be a pre-event briefing session for volunteers at Club Services Ipswich on 11 October @ 6:30PM.

This opportunity accepts volunteers under the age of 18, however you will be required to provide parent/guardian details.
