About this opportunity
We have a Macedonian-speaking resident who would benefit from having a companion to converse with in their own language.
Visits can be spent doing something both you and the residents enjoy such as listening to music, chatting, reminiscing or going for a walk.
No special skills are needed except for a friendly and caring nature and good listening and communication skills. Our friendly team will be there to guide and support you.
As little as half an hour a week can make a significant difference to someone’s life.

Covid-19 vaccination . Flu vaccination . NDIS screening check . Others .
-Current National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening, or willingness to obtain at Bethanie's expense)
- Record of having full COVID-19 vaccination (3x vaccinations for volunteers aged 18+, 2x vaccinations for volunteers aged under 18)
- Record of having (or willing to undertake) 2024 influenza vaccination.
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the Bethanie Group Inc.
Weekdays or weekends. AM or PM, you choose your availability.
