The ideal volunteer is a quick, effective and honest worker that is a step ahead and understands the ever-changing world of the social media.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update content AAIC’s live website on a regular basis.
  • Make changes to and upload articles & media at request of management.
  • Keep donation gateways up to date with AAIC campaigns and marketing.
  • Monitor web and social media statistics and follow-up on usage trends.
  • Convert email campaigns & press releases into proper email layout and test before sending.
  • Provide reports to CEO as required, outlining processes undertaken, results achieved, and any suggestions.
  • Write content for social media platforms and post them. -Create strategic social media campaigns to engage followers and create conversation.


Additional requirements

National Police Certificate *.

Working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and MailChimp. Proficient in Microsoft suite of products. Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a close knit team.

Time Required

18-20 hours per week (negotiable). Hours and days to be negotiated with the volunteer coordinator.
