ABOUT US

We are a small kangaroo rescue organisation made up of volunteers, we have a 24/7 hotline for any kangaroo emergency across South Australia. Over the past year our rescue has grown larger and larger and with that we need to build a foundation to suit. We will be becoming an incorporated organisation and launching officially towards the end of 2021 after finalising some last minute touches. At this point we will aim to take on financial members, provide training workshops and educational presentations to the general public. Our main objective is to continue to raise our profile, secure donations, sponsorships and merchandise opportunities and increase wildlife knowledge and engagement. As a not-for-profit we rely completely on donations and the generosity of our community, which is where this position comes in!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based remotely (Work from home!), this newly created position is ideal for a motivated and dynamic professional who shares our love for Australian wildlife.

Your responsibilities

  • Analyze our organization's goals and objectives -Identify any areas that need improvements within the organization -Develop a detailed strategic plan based on findings that will be presented to key stakeholder and members -Keep track of the effectiveness of strategies and make changes when necessary.
